What is Holy Time and why does it matter?

Holy Time is Yehovah's Time Clock by His Word. His set apart times and appointments are all based on the Lunar Calendar according to scripture. I asked myself if I took a 7 day week and placed it in a 30-day month blank calendar; what would it look like if I went by the scriptures of the Bible? I know this may sound crazy but let's remove the distortions of men and simply place the dates on the calendar by the scriptures.

Just imagine taking your current calendar and removing the name of the month and the days of the week. Also, remove all the pre-typed in holidays. All that should be left is the Month number, then adjust the days of the month to go from 1-7, 8-14, 15-21, 22-28, 29-30.

Next just read the scriptures and plug in the appointments that God, Yehovah has commanded us to keep. Only place the appointments by what the scriptures actually say. Could it really be that simple? I believe that it is so simple that a child could remember and not forget.

What I found was PROFOUND!

I ask you to earnestly pray about Yehovah revealing Himself to you through His true calendar before looking at any of the information contained on this website.

Colossians 2:16-17 Let no one, therefore, judge you in eating or in drinking, in respect of a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths -- which are a shadow of what is to come -- but the Body of the Messiah.

Have you ever wondered or asked yourself, “Since we believers profess that the Bible is the Word of God, Yehovah." "Why, are the Believers not fully following the very words of Yehovah and Yeshua/Jesus?" "Why have we placed more value in man's explanation or blatant mistranslation over what is explicitly written or expressed?" "Why are we picking and choosing, taking things out of context and suiting it to our human desires?" "Don't we realize just how dangerous this thought process and reaction truly is to the future of our spirit?" I have been baffled most of my life by this. Do people not realize that this lifetime is the time of testing that leads us to decide the ultimate choice to which our spiritual eternity is destined?

I must confess, I fell into the winds of change trap going from one notion to another but it wasn't until I started really reading the scriptures that led me to some tough questions that no Church, pastor, neighbor or friend, not even Google could answer. Only when I earnestly prayed to Yehovah did I receive the answers I was searching for. So the more that I dig deeper and the more answers I get from the Word by way of answered prayers by Yehovah. This did cause me to find myself alone most of the time. Reading the scriptures gives you knowledge that requires change in order to adher to them. People don't like change, not even for eternity. I have found during my research that the love of self and present comfy life is what people love the most. It isn't Yehovah or Yehsua, they truly just say more than they do. When someone places more value on the words of anyone other than Yehovah and Messiah there is most certainly a problem. Most Christians don’t even realize that everything that Messiah said came from the TaNaK, also called the Old Testament. Somewhere, a man decided they didn’t need the TaNaK and began to teach that it was done away with. It is sad. For someone that finally realizes the truth, it can cause debilitating anger and hatred. I know because I went through the Stages of Grief over what I was taught to believe to be true and what the scriptures actually say is the truth. When you toss aside what you were taught and begin to read and understand from a Hebraic perspective of the scriptures as it relates through context, history, and language; you finally find the true treasure of pure love, compassion, mercy, grace, favor and the way of the truth to eternity.

I have searched and tried attending different denominations over my lifetime. All my efforts led me to heartbreak eventhough I just wanted to follow what the scriptures said to do and to find true fellowship. However, I found one sect or religion of people that actually follow the scriptures for the most part. Really? Who, you might be wondering? Karaite Jews or Karaism, is a sect of Jewish people that have existed from the beginning of the Hebraic nation. Of course, they only follow the TaNaK and believe that the Messiah will come at the end of the Messianic age. So that gets me closer to what I actually believe to be true from reading all the scriptures. I have found great understanding in what they believe and how they too, just like Messiah had a problem with what was added to the scriptures and taught to the people in order to puff up men. So, in essence, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) could be considered to be a Karaite Jew. There is a lot to learn from this epiphany.

Which is it, The TaNaK only or the Old and New Testament? Since I truly believe that Messiah came and will return, I’m going to say something totally radical here. I say there is no Old or New Testament but One Book of Instruction so in my opinion, I believe the Whole Bible to be the TaNaK, cover to cover. I would go as far as to say that you should just rip those heading pages out of your bible. Then start at the very beginning of the book and read it slowly taking in the context, language, and history all the way to the end of the book. I have found out that it is impossible to understand Messiah and especially, Paul without completely understanding of the beginning of the book. I do recommend that you purchase a few books that I have personally read. By the way, I in no way benefit from this endorsement. I believe Yehovah guided me to these books and I am simply sharing with you. Visit my Reference Listing and my Reference Review page.

How is Holy Time Observed According to Scriputre?

1. Observed without assistance (not using technology to find it, its meant to be a sign seen by the naked eye)

2. Observed by two or more witnesses (as Scripturally required to establish a fact)

3. Observed before sunset (if it is after sunset, it is attributed to the following Hebrew day)

4. Observed from the Land (this is the place where everything starts and where we are returning)
